1. How many restaurants does The Westin Puntacana Resort have?

The Westin has two restaurants on the property:

Ananí Restaurant in the Lobby & Brassa Restaurant located beachfront. Additionally, there is a Lobby bar, a bar in the pool and beach area, and a cigar bar. Our guests also have access to other restaurants within the Resort: Playa Blanca Restaurant, The Grill Restaurant, Bamboo Restaurant at Tortuga Bay, and La Yola Restaurant.

2. What are the restaurant hours?

The Westin has two restaurants on the property:

Ananí Restaurant in the Lobby & Brassa Restaurant located beachfront. Additionally, there is a Lobby bar, a bar in the pool and beach area, and a cigar bar. Our guests also have access to other restaurants within the Resort: Playa Blanca Restaurant, The Grill Restaurant, Bamboo Restaurant at Tortuga Bay, and La Yola Restaurant.

  • Ananí Restaurant: 7:00 am – 11:00 am (open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
  • Brassa Grill Restaurant: (currently under renovation)
  • The Grill Restaurant: 10:00 am – 10:30 pm (open daily)
  • Playa Blanca Restaurant: 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm (daily)
  • Bamboo Restaurant: 6:30 am – 11:00 am (Breakfast), 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm (Lunch) & 6:30 pm – 10:30 pm (Dinner)
  • La Yola Restaurant: 6:30 pm – 10:30 pm (daily)

3. Are dogs allowed at The Westin Puntacana Resort?

Yes, we accept dogs at The Westin only for hotel guests. There is a $50 USD stay fee for the admission of the dog. Your pet must not exceed 25 kg and is not allowed in food & beverage areas, the beach, or the pool. Additionally, dog kits are available subject to availability.

If your pet is a service dog, you must present the appropriate certification at the time of hotel check-in. In this case, the stay fee will not apply.

4. Do you provide transportation to Punta Cana International Airport?

We have the assistance of an external transportation service called Guest Services that offers airport-hotel-airport transfers for a cost of US$20 for 1 to 4 people in a private vanette. 5. Is the hotel only for guests or do others have access to the facilities?

The use of The Westin Puntacana facilities is only for guests, owners, and long-term renters within Puntacana Resort. For visitors who do not meet these conditions, there is a Day Pass available at a cost of US$65 per adult and US$32.5 for children aged 3 to 12. This includes lunch and local beverages, as well as access to the pool and beach from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

6. Does The Westin have a VIP Club Lounge or Executive Floor?

This property does not have a VIP Club Lounge or Executive Floor.

7. What benefits do I receive as a Platinum, Titanium & Ambassador member at your property?

For Platinum members:

  • Welcome gift choice between complimentary full breakfast for the member and one guest during the entire stay or 1,000 points per stay
  • Complimentary room upgrade subject to availability at check-in

8. Does the hotel have a Spa?

Puntacana Resort has a Six Senses Spa located at the Clubhouse of our La Cana Golf Course that offers its services to The Westin guests for an additional charge.

9. Is Internet service free?

Yes, our internet service is complimentary. We provide speeds of 10–20 Mbps.

10. Is the hotel non-smoking?

Yes, our hotel is non-smoking. However, we have our Don Queco Cigar Bar as an exclusive smoking area.

11. Do you have a gym on the property?

Yes, we have our Westin Workout Fitness Studio exclusively for hotel guests. It is open 24 hours. Prior reservation is required with a maximum duration of 1 hour and a maximum capacity of 3 guests at the same time.

12. What is the cost to visit the Ojos Indígenas Ecological Reserve?

Learn about all the renowned ecological projects on a guided tour that highlights our efforts to protect and restore the unique species of the Dominican Republic and the development of innovative sustainable projects. The tour includes detailed explanations and visits to see the endemic Rhinoceros Iguana, the aviary, the endemic Hispaniolan hawks, our YAUYA store and, last but not least, our Ojos Indígenas Ecological Reserve (Inriri Lagoon).

13. How can I rent golf carts?

Golf carts can be reserved through Best Day Travel, a third-party company that offers this service. The Customer Service desk is located in the Lobby, next to the entrance of our Ananí Restaurant.

14. What wellness activities do you offer?

The wellness activities we offer are:

  • Yoga – for more information, please contact our Guest Service department.
  • Bicycles – available at no additional cost for all guests
  • Kayak – subject to availability
  • Jogging
  • Six Senses Spa – located at the Clubhouse of our La Cana golf course. Services with additional charge
  • Los Ojos Eco Journey
  • Birdwatching – offered by the Grupo Puntacana Foundation. Prior reservation required

15. Do the rooms have a refrigerator?

All rooms have a minibar equipped with snacks and beverages for consumption, with an additional charge. We also have empty refrigerators available for an additional cost of US$10 per day.

16. What are the pool and beach hours?

Our beach and pool are open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

17. Do all rooms have an ocean view?

All rooms have a partial ocean view from the balcony or terrace.

18. What types of payments does the property accept?

Credit card payments or bank transfers (depending on the case). Cash payments are not accepted.
