Puntacana Resort & Club receives 2016 Travel Weekly Magellan and World Luxury Hotel Awards

Punta Cana, Dominican Republic (DATE) – This week, Puntacana Resort & Club was awarded the 2016 Travel Weekly Gold Magellan Award for Overall - Eco-Friendly "Green" Resort and the resort’s luxury property, Tortuga Bay, was awarded the 2016 World Luxury Hotel Award for Luxury Golf Resort. The addition of these two awards to the renowned resort’s list of awards and accolades demonstrates Puntacana Resort & Club’s continued dedication to sustainable tourism and offering world class facilities and amenities.

Puntacana Resort & Club is also home to 45 holes of championship golf. Between Tom Fazio's Corales Golf Course, and P.B. Dye's La Cana Golf Course, there are 6 oceanfront and 14 oceanview holes. In 2015, Corales Golf Course was home to the only PGA Web.com Tour in the Caribbean, and will be hosting the tournament again June 2017.
